Be Attitudes

 

 Character- noun \ˈker-ik-tər, ˈka-rik-\

: the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves : someone’s personality

: a set of qualities that are shared by many people in a group, country, etc.

: a set of qualities that make a place or thing different from other places or things

Beginning 2015, I’ll be sharing posts about each Beatitude under this page. I pray that you enjoy and find your spiritual key to open your heart to have more of a Christ-like character this New Year and on. 

I noticed that the Beatitudes were given by Jesus after He preached about repentance.  Therefore beloved flowers, repentance (MHO) is the main key to getting our spiritual and ethical character in alignment with God.  All of us MUST grow spiritually in our walk with Jesus to BE like Him…for the bible tells us in John 4:24- God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

We can’t be fishers of men if we do not Operate In the Spirit and Cooperate With the Spirit to bring others to  Christ.

So my dear beloved, let us all make a resolution to work on our Be Attitudes using the Beatitudes spoken by none other than Jesus himself as instructions for us. Let us drown ourselves into the Spirit of God and rejoice.

Matthew 5 (Verses 3- 11)

1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

² And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

³ Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

⁴ Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

⁵ Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

⁶ Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

⁷ Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

⁸ Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

⁹ Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

¹⁰ Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

¹¹ Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

¹² Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
