Do You Need To Change Your Dirt? – Alkalinity vs. Acidity- Part 2

Mark 4:5-6- And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth: But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

Jesus’ Explanation

Mark 4:16-17 -And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended.

Rocky/Stony Soil
Excerpt from HGTV- Is rocky soil turning your landscaping dreams of green to gravel? Rocks make for a great garden above ground, but when the soil below is made up of the same impenetrable stone, plant roots have a tough time getting the nutrients they need to survive. So what do you do if your yard is full of rocky soil? Homeowners across the country blast, backhoe and burrow their way through compacted soil, not always with satisfactory results.  Rocks aren’t all that biologically active, which means that they don’t enhance the soil’s productivity much.  Just as rocks can affect what you plant below ground, they can affect what you plant above ground, too. Rocks can create microclimates that may either help or hinder growth.

Let me begin by sharing a few things I have learned from experience concerning rocks. Above ground, rocks can be used as an eye pleasing decoration in a flowerbed and over time they tend to work their own way into the ground. So I head back to Lowe’s to purchase more rocks. Grrr! Rocks can also block the sun that is needed for growth, so don’t put your plants too close to the bordered rocks.  Some plants need sunlight from the time the sun rises until it goes down. However, too much sun will kill any plant that is not planted deep enough to take root.

This too happens in our lives when we have either no root in the word of God or we are improperly rooted by false teachings.  Jesus said, we “endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, IMMEDIATELY they (we) are offended.”   I know that I was offended by having to purchase more decorative rocks when my next spring planting came around. I also had to dig up some of the old rocks that became embedded in the dirt and I was a bit more than offended. What should I have done differently? Watch HGTV of course.

gardenWe begin to look for answers on how to make life changes sometimes with and/or without the Son.  We too, try often to blast, backhoe, and burrow our way through rocky dirt in our lives to no avail due to the fact that we haven’t rooted firmly enough in the WORD to apply it to our difficulties. It takes a lot of love. But, then there’s God, not Maude. 😛

Jesus said “…who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;” had me thinking…Is it wrong for us to quickly accept and be impulsive about sharing the gospel without thinking about the consequences? Then I remembered that Jesus also said, “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” (Matt. 16:24)  It just so happens that when we are faced with problems and antagonism because of the word of God, we begin to lose heart; most stop coming to Jesus as they work their way down into a rocky place.

We are excited when we join a church  and some can’t get beyond a certain growth spurt. They become stressed and yes, they are offended. Could it be because he/she didn’t deny self?  It seems to be a natural process for all humans when hard times hit. But when Believers are hit with hard times and fall away; is it because they didn’t take up his/her cross?  “Hard times flush the chump.  Everybody’s lookin’ for answers….  ” is a line that came to mind from the movie Oh Brother.   I took a moment to look up what that may mean. Here’s what I found courtesy of Ivy Sea Online Leadership Site:

  • It could also mean that people, feeling pressured or fearful, act out from their less skillful selves and are just unpleasant, intolerant or judgmental.
  • Or, like the movie’s Everett noted, hard times make people willing to believe just about anything. Here, he was referring to the overly naïve. Eager to delegate his or her own personal responsibility to someone else, rather than bucking up and taking action for him or herself, these folks are often fast-food for the charlatan
  • It could mean that challenging circumstances flush out the less committed, unfocused or risk-averse, those who don’t have what it takes (or find that it’s not worth it) to see it through. Hard times definitely flush those folks, probably for their own ultimate benefit.

As Believers, I believe that we have to face the fact that we have, we do, and we will fall upon rocky /stony periods in our life because we do not consider the outcome of choices made especially when hard times hit. I agree “challenging circumstances flush out the less committed…” But, as we continue to grow in the word and commit to the word, we learn what it means to show ourselves approved unto God.

We must admit that we can do nothing without the help of the Holy Spirit. We can’t even change our dirt without His help. I think the key to getting ourselves out from amongst rocky soil is to “deny” ourselves. The Holy Spirit’s presence in our lives is detrimental to our growth in Christ. So to speak, He is the pH balance, the alkalinity that keeps us grounded in the word. Please note that while stony /rocky soil yields life to seeds sowed upon its ground, the growth is but for a short time.  You have to ask yourself, do I want to spend an eternity with God or do I want to spend “but for a time” with Him?  That leads me to my next thought.

running(Running for cover…Not) I also believe that the number one reason some fall upon this type of soil is that some of us tend to rely on the word of our shepherds, i.e. pastors, leaders, and other advisers. Some folks are too lazy to spend quality Holy Spirit led time in the word of God to find answers from the Holy Spirit of God.  When we rely on what others “said”, and have not spent “I” time (not me time) with God, we have no depth about what the word of God says. If you think about many incidents in the NT and the OT, if something were to be proven or questioned, they would always fall back to what “God said”  or what “God did”; many NT writers even referred back to the OT.  Jesus did it too.

For the last four years I’ve heard quite a few people say during a testimony or just via a conversation with the biggest smile on their face, “Well, pastor said…. And I believe God will do it.” My response is usually to stare at them out of disbelief or I ask, ‘What did God say?’ I have a tendency to blurt out something when I am in utter disbelief. That’s some rocky dirt. Yeah I need to change that dirt! (TYHS) Remember what Jesus said to John and  James when they asked to sit at his right and left hand in the kingdom of God?  He said “Ye know not what ye ask: can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?” Mark 10

Question…Can you drink of that cup when you are taking root in rocky soul? Peradventure, some of us may need to change our surroundings, our employment, even so to the point of changing our place of worship. The lesson we need to heed here about this type of dirt/soil is that as Believers and Sowers of the word, we do not need to be in the vicinity of sowing amongst rocky dirt knowing that it hinders our growth period. Jesus has already given us answers  about what happens when we are sowing in this type of dirt/soil. Yes, “Everybody’s lookin’ for answers…. ” therefore heed the teachings of Jesus.

life flowerWhen it seems like the Holy Spirit is dormant in our garden (heart), it is time to change our dirt. It is imperative for us to grow in a more alkalized garden instead of continuing to push, backhoe and blast ourselves into finding root in an acidic garden. The only thing that I can think of growing on rocky soil is the church.

Proof on the Rocks: And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Matthew 16

Do you need to change your dirt?

Are You Keeping Your Heart With All Diligence?

Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

heartguard1

As I was reading over this verse, a lot of things came to mind about the power the heart has. When it stops beating and pumping blood, out of it flows life as we have lived it. When it is beating and pumping blood, out of it flow the issues of life. That is so fascinating to me…the things that go into and out of the heart. Most of us don’t give the flow much thought or else we would have lived or live our lives per the Proverbs verse above. In essence, we tend to forget that the mouth plays a big role in the flow.

Even though we freely make decisions and act upon what’s in our heart, do we even ponder deeply about the fact that God has total control over our hearts? When He sees the need to step in to suit His purpose, He does. Remember the issues with Pharaoh?

Exodus 4:21- And the Lord said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.

AND His people

Jeremiah 32:40- “….And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

Now darlings…We all know from personal experience and from watching others that these two things are the truth and nothing but the truth about the issues that flow from the heart per the Believers’ Lord and Savior:

  • “But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:”-(Matthew 15:18-19)
  • God said, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9)

Some may ask God… then why should we keep our heart with all diligence since it is “deceitful?” Snoopy has a point too, but I found the answer here: Psalm 51: 6 -Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. The heart is very valuable to God. It is how we connect with Him and others. Truth, Truth, Truth is what He desires. If our heart is true, it is there that we can have peace concerning the issues that flow out.

One last thing beloved readers…Be aware. The heart is ALWAYS under attack. Solomon alluded to this fact in the books of Kings and Proverbs. He would know best per his experiences, which is why he has shared this “to do” information about protecting(keeping) the heart. The reason we get hurt by others and hurt others is because we do not keep a diligent watch over, nor do we place a high enough value on the heart.

When we keep things that we value, what do we do? We find strength and joy in those things, we care for and even ask others to help us in caring for those things, sometimes we share them with others according to its value, and we protect those things with all our might. Soooo…Why is it then, that we are such failures at keeping the heart with the same diligence as we do things? You’ll have to discover the true reason that you don’t.

Shouldn’t we be a people who place more value on the heart than on things?

This is why I believe that all Believers’ should be diligent about asking in every prayer “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10) I can tell you from experience that when God is cleaning the heart, it takes time. The more you work at diligently protecting it, the quicker God works on the cleaning. Some may not like the changes you make. Don’t worry about them, concentrate on the fact that God is looking at the strides you are making to keep your heart in line with His will. People will disappoint you all the time. Knowing the value of your heart is the first step.

John Flavel stated “The state of the whole body depends upon the soundness and vigour of the heart, and the everlasting state of the whole man upon the good or ill condition of the soul.”

Conclusion-Therefore it is prudent that you “Keep thy heart with all diligence” beloved because “….the Lord looketh on the heart…” (1 Samuel 16:7)

The Gift of Wisdom from the Spirit of the Lord

Find the seed at the bottom of your heart and bring forth a flower.– Shigenori Kameoka

wisdom- God KindA Perk- The gifts from the Spirit of the Lord are all gifts that we are to ask for. They are not resting upon us as they rested on the Root of Jesse. I discovered this as I was briefly studying the gifts. Lord given wisdom gives us the ability to be beautifully great and strong discerners. Solomon’s wisdom was counted among the greatest. (1Kings 4:29-30-1; 1Kings 10:23)

As we know, wisdom is mostly referred to as “she” and “it” in the bible. So… it’s fair to conclude that wisdom is indeed a female epitome, not a male nor a transgender epitome?  There is absolutely no confusion to wisdom’s gender identity or gender expression here unless we want to view wisdom as a seahorse. The Fact-wisdom’s epitome of being a “she” and an “it” in the bible is never explained. That stands as is. However on the other hand, there could be a point to argue since “it” was in the beginning. I won’t argue the point because I’m not going outside of what the Spirit of the Lord is showing me at this time- “She” is it.

I found that wisdom is considered the “first” or “highest” gift of the “Holy Spirit.” So I asked self why that is. I believe it is because of the following verses. (TYHS)

Proverbs 8:22-23; 30 was an eye opener. Wisdom Speaks. I’ve never paid attention to these verses before (you read vs. 11-36)

22-23;30- The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was….Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

Wow, have you ever given deep thought about those verses? I’ve just experienced a cleansing and am in such awe right now as I write this. Let me calm down! (TYHS)

And then there is Job 28:12-28. I could not get away from what Job said about God and wisdom in verses 26 & 27.

26 When he (God)made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder:
27-“Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out.”

And those words threw me back to:

Genesis 1:2– And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

(TYHS! TYHS!) If the Holy Spirit keeps speaking to me, this post will be 8,000 words or more on this subject alone. That is reserved for my upcoming book…can’t share everything here!

Let me share a few questions and thoughts on wisdom. In this study, I have discovered that the heart’s condition is dependent upon us getting wisdom from God. Please read :Ps 90:12;Pro 4:6-7; Ecc:10:2; Col. 2:2-3(I’m so in awe of that finding- TYHS) In my Heart and Mind seminars, absolutely no one leaves without knowing the importance of the heart’s condition with God, including me.

  • How does one get wisdom? James 1:5
  • Who gives us wisdom? Dan 1:17
  • What is the difference in wisdom from God and wisdom from reading other books? (James 3:17– from God) It has been my experience when reading other books that I have gained more knowledge instead of more wisdom. When reading the words inspired by God, I can harden not my heart-receive His gift of wisdom to make pure decisions when it concerns people. Sometimes our hearts change on a daily basis, depending on us being hurt or loved. I will not lie…sometimes that gift is hidden from me because I have not been obedient in heart to His word. We all have disobedient days, right? When reading other books, I learn about why a person’s heart may be the way it is and the actions that stem from it, which becomes both knowledge and news to me.
  • Can the gift of wisdom be taken away? Yes (Are you shocked?)Isaiah 29: 13-15– Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid. Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the Lord, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?
  • This one is not a question. I disagree with these statements I found “The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit is a concept in Catholicism. The gifts refer to the seven graces bestowed upon Catholics who follow their faith correctly. …..Catholics are encouraged to use these gifts in daily life. Gifts come as a byproduct of living a spiritually pure life, and also through the sacrament of confirmation, a Catholic rite of passage”  It is not a concept in Catholicism. It is for ALL Christians who follow God with their heart. You can’t use His gifts daily if the Lord has not rested upon you. The Root of Jesse is the “rite of passage.” As Christians, our desire should be to become closer to the Lord, to receive the Gifts from the Spirit of the Lord. And that’s the essence of what I have to say about those statements. If I have offended anyone, forgive me.
  • Having wisdom teeth does not make us wise.

wisdom fire marshmallowWhoa!!! Marshmallows on fire for a moment. I have experienced that wisdom often makes me very discerning…full of eyes rolling everywhere like Ezekiel’s wheel. It’s not a scary feeling when I experience such, it’s more of an ‘I’m ready to see; I don’t want to know because I can’t believe someone is that way feeling’….but I accept what God is showing me. Forgive, move forward.  It is sad that we have to treat some Christians with a 7 foot pole as we continue to love them. Wisdom from God is a very powerful gift.

I pray that you find with the help of the Holy Spirit deeper insights to wisdom from these additional readings and quote below: 1 Cor. 2:6-16; 2 Chronicles 1:7-12;Daniel 2:20-23;Proverbs 14:33 and Acts 22:7(can’t leave out something about Moses)

 I Love You

Love Covers A Multitude of Sins

Immaterial Things and Situations(sit ye a-tions)and Reprobate Minds

Read with Caution!

Whoa! Put down your whips and put away your nerf gun. I ain’t having it. In the last 3 or 4 months, we have seen some REAL manifestations of the working of spiritual wickedness in rather high places, don’t ya think? From the white house to the outhouse or vice versa as the saying goes.

Read Romans 1

Why do people associate themselves with immaterial things? Yep, you got it, a flag, the Supreme Court rulings, and all other things that are manmade profanations, not God intended. The rainbow is God’s symbol being misused. Somebody dun gon and turnt it into an Asherah symbol.(Quiet!, no talking back or grumbling)

Why let an immaterial thing as a flag declare who you are? (Ecclesiastes 3:20 (KJV) All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.)

Why let the decisions of man change your personal belief in God’s plan?

Why hate another because of their skin hue?

Why does a person pretend to be of another ethnicity?

Why shoot a man in the back that is running away from you?

Why does blue and yellow make green?

Why are there still in existence segregated churches that believe in God as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit?

Why is suiting the need used as a defense for a pilferer, a hypocrite, and a dog when there is a separation of church and state? Sit ye a-tions… Huh?

Thar She Flows!

Thar She Flows!

These are not things that make you go hmmm?…Sin is SIN. Whatever is going on with government and personal beliefs -we tend to forget the rulers that we are wrestling against. There are evil spirits wandering around to devour us- waiting to  take control of our spirit while at the same time moving us further away from the ONE and ONLY Maker.  Meanwhile, “back at the Bat cave”, fear is running rampant. When we lose focus on Who God Is, Why Jesus Came, Departed, and will Return, and What the Holy Spirit’ job is, we are fighting a losing battle against those fleshless principalities and powers. Hear ye, hear ye! God will win.

Just because we don’t see them, we see their actions. Every time I read about stuff on the net, I just lift my hands and heart to God and say, Father, God, have mercy on us all. Quite a few Americans hate to admit it – hate is ruling in their lives. Most hide behind and pledge allegiance to a flag (immaterial object) and cling to the words God Bless America when their sin is shining brightly for all to see.  God does not bless sins. God’s kingdom will be the Only place that will be the land of the free and the home of the brave.

At the rate America is going now, this is not a picture Michelangelo would want to paint and put on display in today’s newspapers and art galleries; nor a painting a kindergartener would put on the family fridge. Has anyone sat down with kids to ask them what they think about all the stuff that is going on in the “land of the free?” I have, and believe me, it’s not a pretty picture of their thoughts. Here is the thing….those who are in Christ will wait on the Lord.  There will be an ending to all this sinful madness, thus saith the Lord.

With that being said, let us remember the teachings of Paul in Ephesians 6:10-18 to understand that these happenings are immaterial to the Kingdom of God. Christians need to :

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Awakening- Immaterial things cause us to lose sight of God working on behalf of His children. Do not ever forget that YOU as a child of God have dominion over the Devil. I know it is hard to fathom but we need to remember this in Genesis 50:20 (KJV)- But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Beloved, we can preach and listen to sermons all day long, go to church every day, read the bible every day, and pretend to be a Christian when it suits our need,  protest that we have freedom or the right to do this or be this, but if we don’t put on the whole armour of God, as a Christian, and love one another, we are “living the dream” of those rulers of darkness of this world.

While most are walking around here with blindchitis (relative to bronchitis) as all of this is going on,  at least recognize  “ain’t nobody got time for that” as Sweet Brown would say. It’s evident that some are being given over to a reprobate mind. God has bigger plans and a better place for His children. Be attentive, keep your focus on Jesus.

Word To The Meek:Impositions Received Requires Discernment – Matthew 5:5

“Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.”

Imposition (n) – a demand or request that is not reasonable or that causes trouble for someone; something imposed: as a: levy, tax b: an excessive or uncalled-for requirement or burdenDiscernment (n) – 1.the ability to judge well: 2. (in Christian contexts) perception in the absence of judgment with a view to obtaining spiritual direction and understanding:Meek (adj.) – quiet, gentle, and easily imposed on; submissive: 1. enduring injury with patience and without resentment: mild 2: deficient in spirit and courage: submissive 3: not violent or strong: moderate

Greekpraos: meek. This difficult-to-translate root (pra-) means more than “meek.” Biblical meekness is not weakness but rather refers to exercising God’s strength under His control – i.e. demonstrating power without undue harshness. [The English term “meek” often lacks this blend – i.e. of gentleness (reserve) and strength.

MEEKNESS3 Instead of discussing my full thoughts on this verse I chose to focus on the definitions- so that all may have or come to a clearer understanding of the word MEEK. I will also share quotes with corresponding scriptures. In Matthew 11:29, Jesus said “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” In the Holy Bible, we are given several references about Jesus’ character. If you are familiar with the events about Jesus, you also know that being “meek” does not make you a weakling, a rug, nor floor mat that anyone can just walk on, wipe their shoes off on, nor beat with a broom to remove the dust. Do you understand? doormat

A meek person finds it easy to submit to God. When one submits to God, He gives one the gift of discernment which is to be used at all times.

Sometimes it takes a while for God to reveal a person’s heart to others. I believe we are required to use the gift of discernment for many impositions that are and will be placed upon us. We must befriend those who are led by the Spirit of God only, for there are many spirits amidst us, just waiting for us to be led by a spirit or the spirit.  Listen beloved- “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:2) BECAUSE  “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”(1 John 4:1) TYHS!

Let’s Read!

thankful heart

God has two dwellings; one in heaven, and the other in a meek and thankful heart. ~ Izaak Walton

1 John 3:24– And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

Psalm 34:18 – The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

Ezekiel 44:9 -Thus saith the Lord God; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel.

Matthew 23:12 – And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. ~ Jesus

 discernment2

“One should preach not from one’s rational mind but rather from the heart. Only that which is from the heart can touch another heart. One must never attack or oppose anyone. If he who preaches must tell people to keep away from a certain kind of evil, he must do so meekly and humbly, with fear of God.” ~ Elder Thaddeus of Vitovnica

Philippians 2: 1-5 – If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Titus 2:7-8 – In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

 faultfinder

Discernment is God’s call to intercession, never to faultfinding. ~ Corrie Ten Boom

Isaiah 11:3-4 – And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

revelationOne of the most subtle burdens God ever puts on us as saints is this burden of discernment concerning other souls. He reveals things in order that we may take the burden of these souls before Him and form the mind of Christ about them. It is not that we bring God into touch with our minds, but that we rouse ourselves until God is able to convey His mind to us about the one for whom we intercede.

~ Oswald Chambers

Nehemiah 8:8 – So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.

discernment

Remain meek when imposed upon;use discernment towards those that are always quick to agree with and flatter you. ~ Moi

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 – These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
